We came to Providence Network inspired by James 2:14-17 which says, "What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but do not have works? Can faith save you? If a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily food, and one of you says to them, 'Go in peace; keep warm and eat your fill,' and yet you do not supply their bodily needs, what is the good of that? So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead."

Over the years of serving those in need, we have witnessed significant transformations in the lives of all those who have put to practice the skills learned while living at Joy House. Our greatest joy comes when they are able to hand over the apartment keys to a new resident and say, "Welcome Home!" We know that keys to an apartment is more than “just a set of keys.” The keys signify freedom - freedom from violence and, most importantly, the freedom to start a new life filled with hope and joy.
