Derek Kuykendall

In college I played basketball with a group of boys in an after-school program and witnessed first-hand the effects of poverty, drug abuse, and violence had on their young lives. From then on, I was determined to be an active participant in helping to address these issues. I received a Masters degree in Social Work and gained over 15 years of experience in human services, social justice ministries and affordable housing. When I learned of Providence Network, I was drawn to the relational approach of restoring lives.  I am very thankful for my prior experience and grateful for the opportunity to further this important mission.  I am a Colorado native, married to Alexandra, and proud father of four beautiful daughters.
